About Me

Once upon a time… I met a handsome  English teacher who grew up on a farm. He wooed me, we said I do, and started a beautiful family. As many stories go, there are always unforeseen plot twists that leave us wondering how the story will end. Only time will tell where this story is going, but I have a feeling it will have a happy ending!

My name is Molly Wilkerson aka Molly Milburn, MoMo, Mommy and “Babe, where did you put my (insert missing item here).” I grew up in an Irish, Catholic family in St. Louis, Missouri. I suffer from middle child syndrome, with an older sister and a younger brother and sister. They all happen to be red heads, so naturally I am the only one with a soul. Proud 2009 graduate of Ladue Horton Watkins High School. Go Rams! “What time is it? Due Time!” I traded St. Louis for Cape Girardeau, where I earned a Bachelors of Science in Social Studies Education at SEMO. After four years of training to be a teacher, I naturally decided after graduation I wanted to be a Librarian instead. In August of 2013, I started my job as an Assistant Librarian. Something else happened in August… I can’t seem to remember…Oh, I married my soul mate Nathan James. We spent two years in Poplar Bluff before moving to Lebanon, Missouri. The last year of living in Poplar Bluff was challenging for many reasons. (If you are interested in reading about that story, check out my Hope Baby page.) Nathan began his third year of teaching English at Camdenton High School, and I put my hard earned teaching degree to work by subbing in the Camdenton School District. In January of 2016 we found out we were expecting our sweet Aidan Quinn and he came into our lives September 2016. I am currently working my dream job as a stay at home mom, which apparently means wiping butts 10-12 times a day, eating one handed and deciding which pair of yoga pants to wear that day. I happen to love every minute of it! I hope you enjoy getting to know me and my wild, crazy and blessed little family!
